Goldlink is an American hip-hop artist. His 2017 debut studio album, “At What Cost,” earned him Billboard status and Grammy Nomination. Given the name DeAnthony Carlos, he was born on May 17, 1993, in Washington, D.C. He grew up listening to what he considers “pure hip hop.” This includes the likes of Max B, Cam’ron, Master P, Hot Boys, Silk the Shocker and a host of others. In March 2017, Goldlink released his debut studio album; “At What Cost.” The album featured various artists including Shy Glizzy, Wale, Jazmine Sullivan, Mya, Steve Lacy, and Kaytranada. The album ranked #128 on the US Billboard 200 charts. Hit single “Crew” would peak at #45 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It would also earn a nomination at the 60th Grammy Awards for Best Rap/Song Performance. In recent months, Goldlink’s single “Crew” featuring Brent Fiyaz and Shy Glizzy has scored over 50 million views on YouTube.
