Koi Mil Gaya has completed 20 years since its release in 2003. The Rakesh Roshan directorial featuring Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta is one of the most loved sci-fi films of Bollywood. As the film re-releases in theatres, the director has made new revelations.In a recent interview, Rakesh Roshan revealed that Yash Chopra preferred a different ending to the film. He wanted a climax where Jadoo takes away Rohit’s powers when he leaves. Meanwhile, Aditya Chopra suggested that the powers should come back to Rohit.
The film’s original ending sees Jadoo leave Earth on a spaceship after Rohit helps him make contact. For a while he loses his powers only to get them back once again. He retains the powers granted by Jadoo.
